Season Two Complete!

  • Vardi 6-28, Scorchday: The heroes triumphant defeat of Goshinki and the activation of the Oraculum, rousing Palaki, goddess of nature, from her centuries' long slumber.
  • 6-15: Discover troll city and submerged pyramid ruins.
  • 6-13,14: Travel deeper into the Blightroot.
  • 6-12: Midnight in Lucinda's House.
  • 6-11: Seeking Lucinda the Hag.
  • 6-10: Rickety House.
  • 6-9: Reach Zeth. Bed down in lumber mill.
  • 6-7,8: After returning to the Frenga River, the party constructs a large raft and makes good time southward toward Zeth, a backwater village on the edge of the swamp. Partway along the ride, a trio of Hill Giants stalking a herd of elk turn their aggression on the party when their prey becomes spooked.
  • 6-6: Venturing deeper into the Frengia Forest, the party stumbles upon a virtual fortress wall of massive sentient trees. The most colossal of them, O'Ki Toraka demands that they explain their intrusion before he kills them. They present O'Ki Naka's scroll and O'Ki Toraka is satisfied. He explains that they are on alert since chasing off the invading Goshinki (without his barbed tale which he graps in his oaken fist). Upon being asked about the Oraculum, he tells that party that the original home of the Sigil Elves was in what is now the eastern end of portion of the Blightroot Bayou. In that place there stood a stone pyramid which resisted all efforts to crush. (The Sigil Elves will not suffer an unnatural structure within their lands).
  • 6-5: Upon arriving at the elven village, the party is confronting by a scene of burning carnage. After fighting off aggressive Cobra Flowers and braving the rampaging O'Ki Naka, the party excised the vexing poison gland that was apparently grafted there by Goshinki. O'Ki Naka has little insight for the party but directs them deeper into the forest to seek the wisdom of the eldest trees. O'Ki Naka gifts the party with the Elven Boots, Cloaks and enchanted arrows of the fallen and a scroll of Earthbind scribed upon his own bark.
  • 6-4: The party ventures into the Frengia Forest traveling along ancient overgrown game trails. After only a short while they are confronted by a massive reptile with blazing eyes.
  • 6-3: The party is at last reunited on the northeastern outskirts of the Frengia Forest. Choosing to look for answers in that forest, the party is enters but is stopped by an elf that did not give a name. He states that the elven lands are closed due to a recent invasion by Goshinki. The elf agrees to permit them to enter and speak with the elven elder if they agree to vanquish whatever abominations they encounter along the way. The party agrees and decides to wait until morning to press on.
  • 6-2: Kingu shares his "library book" with the party. Brother Dvargathsen discusses his findings. A package is received at Brother Dvargathsen's home which contains the items Kalinfingar had crafted for Yachak and Cowl. The party sets out in the direction of Yachak and is attacked by bulettes. Yachak and Kabir continue their journey to Gulgaris, and eludes a flock of nightcallers.
  • 6-1: Journey to Kulgaris and return. Yachak returns to the Vale bearing Cowl's robe and Kingu's trophy skull. Cowl still bears the puzzle box that has somehow bound itself to him. Zarkr appears and offers his services for an equal share. Yachak calls Kabir.
  • 5-28: Lead through the Undercity, where light is generally forbidden, by Brother Dvargathsen, the party arrived at the Gulgarin Temple of the Way where the local high holy man, Brother Jellid Bjarnsen had discovered another deity's shrine long hidden beneath the temple. He had become and instant convert to the god of knowledge and time, Tirasmus. Brother Bjarnsen had learned a great many things during is meditations on his new master and shared bits of relevant information with the party; including stories of the gods and folklore on Kulgaris and the creatures which dwell therein. After a great deal of deliberation, Yachak chose to undergo a risky exorcism to banish the creature sharing his body. The banishment was successful, however the creature's grip on Yachak was so great that Yachak was dragged to the underworld as well. Cowl was quick to undertake a dream-state journey to the Monastery of the Wakers in Kulgaris to seek their aid in recovering Yachak.
  • 5-27: The party arrived in the Outer City of Gulgaris and was welcomed to use Brother Dvargathsen's domed stone home as their own. Vargus goaded Cpt Finjarn Farthen into a contest of strength and won passage for the party into the Undercity.
  • 5-26: Seeking to learn more about Yachak's unusual affliction, the artifacts at site 13B and the invader Goshinki, the party has been traveling toward the Dwarven city of Gulgaris. About a day's travel from the city, they dispatched a pair of bulettes that had been terrorizing the roads. At night, Geezbik spied a large Golden Eagle watching him from a distant branch. He roused Yachak to go confront the eagle, but the creature did not respond to the language of birds.
  • 5-24: After tracking Goshinki to a hidden altar where he was conducting a dark ritual to reach to bridge the gap to the underworld, the party set upon him and disrupted the ritual. Goshinki withdrew and left his minion skull ripper to deal with the party. However, the construct was defeated but not before dear old Skruff went to a farm in the country. The Spoils
  • 5-23: Followed the giant scorpion tracks from the archeological site, through the mining camp, and up into the mountains where the T'lincali the party had seen in the vision was performing a dark ritual soaking in Dwarven blood, hidden in a lava tube cave.
  • 5-22: After seeing archeological site 13b after dark, traveled to Dwarven mining camp where Yachak and party saved a wounded cave bear (the preferred beast of burden for Dwarves).
  • 5-22: Commander Eesha delivered magic belt for Vargus despite not thinking very highly of humans. Traveled to the source of the lava and threw Aljandar's blade in.
  • 5-21: Brother Dvargathson was found wandering through the bad lands, cursed blade in hand.
  • 5-16: Kalinfingar began work on your items, starting with Vargus' belt.
  • 5-15: The party defeated the ghost in the creek at Velnori.
  • 5-13: The party freed Tindale from the infestation of stone chickens (cockatrices).
  • 5-9: The party departed from Dal T'Nor after having counsel in the High Tower of Dal Marrow.
  • 5-8: The party broke up Alkor's drug ring.
  • 4-20 through 5-6: Downtime during which PCs had individual adventures and sharpened their metaphorical axes.
